BYTENAIT builds AI-native applications that grow alongside their users, starting with adaptive learning tools that make test preparation more interactive, effective, and affordable.
BYTENAIT, derived from binate, meaning to grow in pairs, was founded by brothers Ben and Sam Wilt: a West Point Operations Research graduate and a machine learning engineer. The name reflects our core belief: the best technology and its users grow together.
It started with a problem. Preparing for the GRE, Ben found vocabulary tools antiquated and overpriced. He enlisted Sam, and together, they built Opticram: an adaptive, AI-powered vocabulary engine. Ben used it to score in the 95th percentile verbal and earn admission to Kellogg's MBAi program.
That result became a mission. BYTENAIT exists to build technology that helps people learn faster, perform better, and reach further than they could alone, starting with students, and growing from there.
To build technology that grows with its users. Intelligent tools that help people learn faster, think clearer, and do more than they thought possible.
Our tools recalibrate around each person. They model where you are, identify what's holding you back, and surface exactly what you need, not a generic path, but yours.
Built on Operations Research. We track outcomes at a granular level, run statistical models on performance, and let data guide every product decision, not assumptions.
The best tools have historically been priced out of reach. We believe powerful, personalized software should be available to anyone, not just those who can afford a premium.
Great software doesn't ship once and stop. Our generation pipelines keep content fresh, our models keep learning, and our products keep improving — automatically, with every session.
Our first product suite is Opticram: an adaptive learning engine for high-stakes test prep. Try the live demo, or see what's coming next.
AI-powered GRE vocabulary trainer with spaced repetition and freshly LLM-generated questions every session. Adapts to your weak spots in real time, no memorizing answers, only mastering words. Helped our founder hit the 95th percentile verbal.
The adaptive engine extended to GRE quantitative reasoning. Concept-level mastery tracking across arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data analysis, with freshly generated problems every session and step-by-step solution walkthroughs.
Extending Opticram's adaptive architecture into business school and undergraduate admissions prep. Same engine, purpose-built content pipelines for the GMAT Focus Edition and digital SAT, concept-level tracking from day one.
